Dramasetter here for the review of the final expansion of GTAIV. This is it. The final chapter in the Grand Theft Auto IV has graced us and boy its going out in a bang. This final expansion features the story of a Dominican protaganist Luis Lopez and his struggle to keep his boss/best friend, Gay Tony, alive from various groups of people that either want him dead or want to destroy his empire. While Lopez is the character you control, it's the supporting characters that really shine in this game. The added features such as base jumping and drug wars minigames, the new cars and silly missions takes this game back to the San Andreas days. How does this swan song fare out?THE GOOD:
- The game is more action packed then ever before. More guns, explosives and girls makes this game look like a summber blockbuster movie with an actual storyline.
- The added mini-games are a blast. Base jumping takes around various altitude for you land on specific areas, drug wars is more of take over terrority feature, dancing in the clubs is more rhythm based by the beat with a suprise if you complete it good and golf is just a blast to play.
- More music is added on various music station and it in includes a new Vice City music channel which makes me wonder.....
- The 7 new weapons are powerful and really unique which includes pistol.44, explosives shotguns, gold smg's,assault smg's, etc.
- The storyline is very cleaverly put together, just like the Saw movies, they ties up the loose ends of the previous installments and you will see characters such as Niko, Cousin, Brucie!!!! and many more returning.
- I feel the franchise is starting to lose the steam, but very minimal. Some missions are been there done that witha new twist to it. Maybe the stay in Liberty City is overwelmed already.
- Glitches galore!!! I mean i havent expereienced this many since the Victy City days. Its bad.
- Game is about 6 hours for the main missions, not bad for a DLC but compared to the Lost and the Damned, which lasted me 8-10 hours, you have to think that it wouldve been slightly longer.
- Lopez's ex girlfriend
